boot lean/binding lean do not match
I just recently got some new boots because my old ones were a little to small. The problem is the lean angle of the backs on my bindings. I guess my new boots have less lean angle built into them because when i go to strap in i really have to put some weight or pressure on my heel to get it to sink all the way into the heel cup of my bindings, and thats a lot easier standing on carpet than it is on snow. The adjuster for the binding back lean is/was already maxed out to allow the backs to be as close to vertical as possible, ive brought the screws where the backs pivot up and down from, towards the heel edge and that seems to have helped some, but if I bring those screws to far forward, the back barely has any over lap with the part of the heel cup it is supposed to rest against. Maybe my boots are too big for them now? Has anyone else ran into this problem before?
The boots are new 32 Lashed size 12's. The bindings are Burton Habano Cartel's circa 2005, size: L.
Will try to put up photos later if this is too hard to follow.
Thanks in advance
