|Beeb||The mountain twin is pretty wide anyway - the width on the 157 is 25.4. You'd probably be OK all the way up to US size 11 boots (UK10) IMHO. Especially with any footprint reduction like on lots of the boots on the market these days.|

Wondering if the 158w would be too big for me?
I'm not an agressive rider but one stayes almost all the time on the mountain and does everything, also off piste when fresh snow comes.

For what it's worth, any brand has its issues. The Jones Mountain Twin seems to be a fantastic board and I would still consider one in the future.

Previous years had some build quality issues at nidecker factory, but not since moving production to GST.
Next years model is losing it's setback stance again which I'm kinda sad about, since the graphics look ace.

I recently was in the market for an all new mountain board and considered the following:
Jones Mountain Twin
Lib Tech TRS
Never Summer Cobra
K2 Happy Hour
Ended up disregarding most based on arguably irrational reasons (Jones: quality issues ; Lib Tech: extruded base ; NS: pricey and too "popular").
Got a good deal on the Happy Hour and had an absolute blast with it on the slopes. Loving it so far.

Jones Mountain Twin vs K2 Raygun
My Capita Ultrafear 153 is getting too short for my progressing riding on the mountain so I´m starting looking for a new all mountain freestyle board now.
73kg / 160lbs
183cm / 6'0
Nitro Ultra 44 / 29
Stay almost all the time on the mountain, riding groomers and buttering, also jumps and powder.
Because I´m still learning everything so would like a sort forgiving board.
I´ve been looking around already many boards and narrowed down to these two:
- Jones Mountain Twin (157 or 158W?) Jones Snowboards - The journey is the reward - Mountain Twin
- K2 Raygun (157W is maybe too wide for me?) http://k2snowboarding.com/product/ra...-14#size_specs
the Jones MT 158W has probably the just right width (25,8cm and 30,0 Nose/Tail) for my 44 boots? But the Raygun is about 150$ cheaper…
Does anyone have ridden these two boards and could give me some opinions? Or some other options? )
