Riley212 there are a bunch of boards out that fit this description. Check out- capita horrorscope, echelon killbox, flow verve, stepchild latchkey reverse camber, signal park flat. any where from 150 to 155, depending on board shape, would work for you

Kevin137 Have a look at the Endeavour Vice, very playful and will probably suit what you want for a cheap price, although it is an extruded and not a sintered base, it take a beating...

Ohh! I thought you HAD to buy burton bindings only for burton boards hahahaa. i checked out reviews on the hate and the arbor draft. I think i definitely like the hate over the arbor as well because it has a softer flex. Sounds more fun for butters and jibbing too!
Oh by the way how much does your son weigh and how tall is he?

Thanks!

slyder I don't have 1st hand experience but my son that is about the same as you trashed his Arbor Draft which he really liked for this type of riding.

BUT, he just got a Burton Hate and absolutely loves it. He says it is much softer than the draft. I don't have tech specs or 1st hand again, just going off my boys feedback. He is usually pretty good at describing this and I ride with him so I can see some of the differences.
Some of the more advanced board guys may chime in on this for better input.
He also went from a 154 Draft to 152 Hate, not sure that is relevant or not but telling you incase this helps in your decision

Just letting you know about the Hate. You may want to take a peek at one. Especially at the price point

2nd board

Hi, i think i am an intermediate snowboarder and i was looking for a soft 2nd board, i wanted a board mainly for parks, good for jibbs, good for butters + jumps would be great! I currently ride the YES the greats 154. Carving, jumps and high speed this board is awesome but i started to get into butters and i found it too stiff and hard to learn on. I weigh about 158lbs and 5"10 tall, which board size would be good for me? Also i did some digging and found the burton nug flying v, would that be a good board for me? And what size would i get for that? suggestions on my new 2nd board would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!!
