Unkept Porpoise Dang I really want to ride some snow but revy is just too far away. I suppose Fernie will be the better than lake louise this year though

HurtonBair It's supposed to warm up and a cumulative weekly drop of ~15cm is expected. Won't be awesome, but better than this past weekend.

Revy is expecting ~50cm of the good stuff over the week. Fernie needs this bad.

Unkept Porpoise Planning on Fernie long weekend, hope it gets some of the good stuff this week

HurtonBair At Fernie right now. Cold as fuck and riding on super hard pack. Saw a friends Facebook feed from Whitefish. Way better. Should've brought my passport.

poutanen Yeah I think Kicking Horse is looking like a safe bet for the long weekend next week... Booking a hotel now!

AB resorts not getting much of it, seems like Revelstoke and KH will get the bulk of the goods.

hoots_manuva Wet & snowy pattern returns to the West next week

The stronger westerlies will finally break through early next week and will likely send several storm systems into British Columbia next week.

There should be plenty of opportunity for some heavier snowfall events in ski country across western Canada next week, while heavier rainfall will impact the coastal region.

With this pattern change the temperatures will trend upward across BC with the influx of Pacific air. This milder air will also get into the Prairies by midweek next week.

The pattern could remain stormy through the 19th before a trend toward drier conditions the last week of the month.

poutanen Fernie looks like it's supposed to get hit all next week too. This is why I always wait to the last minute to book a room!
