Dwprix Yeah you got lucky. If you leave at a busy time they probably wont check the license plate list.

Argo Longest I parked there was 4 days, $25. Was in the vail village lot.

Dwprix I used to work in the parking lots. Every night they go around an right down license plate numbers of vehicles still in the lot so depending on who you get at the gate it may be more then $25. If you see the person check the list u may be screwed.

Lucky for me, I love trees and hikes. Looks like a decent amount of snow is coming, so it should be an awesome weekend.

I think I'm gonna stick with the garage as opposed to Wal-Mart. Probably very low risk to park at Wal-Mart, but I'm 100% sure I won't get towed at the garage (and it's only $25 for the whole weeekend). Thanks for the help!

I've done this exact same thing before for 3 days with no problems.

Dutty Yeah that sounds like an awesome plan, thanks! I don't mind putting down 25 for the whole weekend.
Any sweet spots I should hit in Vail? I've only been there twice and don't really know my way around. Went there Sunday and we spent most the day on Blue Sky Basin, and hit some awesome deep stuff on the hikeout right before you go through the east Vail backcountry gate.

Argo If it was next weekend I would let you park in one of our spots since we are out of town, we are here this weekend though. I would park in the parking structure and go move it to a new spot every day. When you leave on the last day just say you lost your ticket. $25. If I can swing another spot here I will let you know.

Dutty I plan on coming down this Thursday and staying through Sunday or possibly Monday this week. I know parking is kinda ridiculous at Vail, but was hoping there might be something like killclimbz mentioned. At Keystone I've left my car on Montezuma and car camped several times, I was hoping there would be something similar.
