readimag You don’t really have to worry about anything unless you are ducking ropes and stuff like that. You can leave the resort at certain areas for side/back country boarding but remember you are on your own.

Boarding in the USA

Hi all, first trip to the US in a couple of weeks and just had a couple of questions.

Are there many restrictions on the the pistes out there? Have heard in the past that the ski patrols dont like people going too fast or jumping on and off piste and can take ski passes off you?

Also going to stay at winter park and was wondering how easy or difficult it is to get to other resorts while there? Was thinking Vail and/or Breckenridge. Or is it not worth having days away at other resorts?

And dont suppose anybody is going to be there around 22nd feb till 3rd march and wouldnt mind showing an englishman around?? Going with a group of people i dont actually know and are all skiers!

Thanks anyway.
