SuCoSlayer One new technology I've been interested in is Triple Base Technology (TBT). Rather than me trying to explain it, I'll just leave this: Bataleon

Riley212 Most are riding different combinations of rocker and camber for all mountain riding, it really depends on personal preference. These are the biggest advances. there is a sticky on top of this forum that explains the different shapes

Maybe the use of basalt weaves instead of fiberglass as well, but that doesn't make a huge difference.

Magnetraction is pretty popular still but only used on mervin and rossignol boards, i have both and get along just fine with or without it.

Board Tech advances in the past 6 years ?

So I haven't been able to get out to snowboard much lately. I used to have an account here but I forgot my info, so yea it's been awhile.

Anyways I was just wondering what sort of tech advances -if any- have occurred in the past 5-6 years ?

The last board I bought was like an '07/08 Gnu with magne traction (sp?). I remember the skate banana was new(ish) around that time. Is the magne traction (serrated side wall) thing still popular?

Just was interested, I used to follow all this stuff and now I'm out of the loop.
