cbrenthus I tried to go to Whitetail yesterday (Sunday 2/17/14) Never saw slopes so crowded, took an hour just to pull into the parking lot, dudes were telling every car that all the rental stuff was sold out. I was excited to get back on the slopes after almost a decade, but barely could walk through the lodge, and one look at the lift lines and I said (I'm not paying $70 for this) and left. Might try tonight

andrewdod New Hampshire, us being so close to the coast line blocked all the snow from vermont (maybe not, but i like to think that.) Waterville Valley got a foot and a half on friday, and 3 more inches on top if that saturday night. The snow is amazing right now, better get here before the rain does!

Deimus85 Did anyone who rode Eastern PA/Catskills/Creek Sunday notice how slow the snow was? I want to make sure it wasn't just me haha.

Deimus85 Did the night session at Blue tonight. It was apparently a really busy day, hence the mountain being pretty tracked out, but it was really sick because of all of the coverage. Tree runs and the big bank walls covered in snow were awesome!

I agree, until they get all tracked out from the skiers.

Hence the key point of being first onto the mountain and last off.

ksup3erb Well of the two, I've only been to Sugarloaf and enjoyed it. 2 days was worth it for the drive from Boston. I bet it won't be crowded at all. Most people you'll see there are season pass holders.

vknyvz yea google says 7 for sugarloaf (420) and 6 for jay (360 miles). 60 mile difference hence the reason for an extra hour

but apart from the distance, which one is really worth
