Lol yep followed the exact one, if I had the patience and funds i probably would have ordered some new edging and screws from tognar...pretty pissed that my board isn't even a year old, so I hope it last at least this season....which is probably only 2 months left if that, been a mild one here in Sweden

DIY - Blown edge repair

Sup, well for those that have had the unfortunate result of blowing an edge on your precious board, here's a little description oh how I went about "fixing" mine...actually my initial thought was bye bye my beloved Forum Scallywag but since I don't have any funds for a new board I didn't have much choice but to try revive mine....using some edging from an old Burton board, g/flex epoxy, p tex and c-clamps, I managed to use 10.5cm from the Burton board, than I glued it all together still using the base layer since it was still hanging on, clamped it between two metal plates with 3 clamps for 24hrs, than filed the edges till they were as flush as possible. Than I ran candle PTex over everything and waxed the whole base. Will update after a few rides....one thing I had read is some people use screws on the new edge but I didn't have any or could find any in Sweden so am chancing it with just epoxy. Peace
