Justin lol no they didn't. I forgot about that, i did break a ladder. The cable held when the plastic broke but then started to fray so i replaced them. That could have been from loading it in the car or something though. I don't remember how i did that.

jliu Justin, how was your exp with the Nitro ratchets?

The cable reinforced ladders must of survived your thrashing no? lol

Justin The thing about that was i dealt with the shop, and the shop was far away so i had to pay for some shipping. With rome you just go straight to them and they just ask for pics. I don't know if nitro is good or not. I would try to go through them next time.

nsrider121 Thanks dude. You weigh a lot more and do more riding than me so I'll probably still keep em at the top of my list.

Was customer service pretty solid on Nitro's end as well?

Justin lol i ride probably over 50 days a year but i don't count. They were my main binding, i ride steep and deep when it is there and park/jump off whatever i can find other wise. I am also 6'6" and 200 lbs so alot of weight and leverage on things. I also push myself to learn new things fairly often so i break things.

FWIW rome bindings has great/amazing customer service. I broke my 390s and they overnighted my replacement parts. Also, that is evidence that i break everything.

nsrider121 Well fuck, you literally destroyed the entire thing. What kind of riding? How many days?

Justin I managed to crack the base plate all the way through to the mini disk. They warrantied them. I also broke the forward lean adjuster and most of the straps were falling apart.

I also loved the highbacks. If i find them on sale over the summer i might give them another shot.

nsrider121 The airbags and canting are definitely appealing. Anything you didn't like about them? What/how'd they blow up?

Justin I loved my Phantoms. The airbag is so nice, and now they have canting. Unfortunately i blew mine up pretty quick, but in fairness i blow up a minimum of one board and one binding a year. I will probably look at them agian.

Nitro Phantom Opinions

I've got my eye on Nitro Phantom Bindings as a responsive all mountain binding. Anyone have experience with them?

I've generally heard good things about Nitro/Raiden bindings.

Currently riding FluxSF45. Looking for something with almost as much response with a little more lateral play and better board feel.

Also considering Cartels.

cheers!
