NEVER reuse that shit, when you scrape it also picks up plastic off your base. If you throw that back on a board it turns into a f-ing mess. Ask me how I know, trying to save a buck waxing a couple boards back to back.

Classic chit.. note taken!

For waxing my sleigh, I usually cheer for a 2nd brew when finishing off the nose/tail that I wax last... then a 3rd springs midway through scraping it anticipating final completion.

That 3rd IPA is most important, but I feel this 6pack methodology will work better except I'll do my scrapin'.

snowman55 I learned to wax this way from my Japanese friend. It's way easier and uses less wax which means less scraping.

freshy If you got a garage or basement your set. Be careful when scraping in your kitchen because the wax scrapings make the floor slippery as hell. I'll scrape outside if it's nice out. And if you don't drink beer you can easily substitute weed.

24WERD if you crayon it on then iron over the wax and spread there is not that much to scrape off. Then use a clean brush and pan into a bag or and get a vacuum to suck it up.

I don't think there is a way to keep the shavings from going everywhere. I just push the shavings away from me as I go so I don't step on them. Try not to get it under your feet and grind it into the floor. Then I just sweep it up.

I have a plastic bag handy and try to gather up the shavings as I scrape and dump them in the bag. Not 100% effective, but nobody cares about some wax shavings on the back porch where I live. Eh, and it's biodegradable anyway

I would love to use this rule, except I don't drink beer I am responsible for the waxing and maintenance of 3 boards, only one of which is mine XD
