|Magnum626||So Catamount wants to expand and spend that $$. Are they opening any new trails or anything? I don't remember them being big enough to even get really crowded.|

|Bertieman||Never heard of this place! Only 2 hours from me in SE, CT. I've been going to berkshire east in western Mass, which is over 2 hours. If you've been there, how does it compare?|

|surfinsnow||Sadly, it appears Catamount is finally going upscale. They're pushing a huge new resort base area hotel/condo. Most of what I like about the place is it's small scale, old school charm. They'll build this big development, but the mountain will still be small. We'll probably be saying goodbye to $30 mid-week lift tickets.|

Phantom rider; cool pic from yesterday
Two absolutely fantastic bluebird days! Did the cheap ticket at Catamount yesterday. Great, great conditions, very few people, wound up riding in just a hoodie (well, pants, too). But check out this pic I got from the main lift, looking down onto Catapult. Captured a wake, but no skier or snowboarder.
