ZFanatic I'm pretty similar to you, had good luck with the Salomon Symbio, it is however, an entry level boot and probably wouldn't hold up well.

I ended up getting the Burton Ozone, which should be here in a couple days. It is a park boot, and I'm mostly freestyle, but honestly it fit perfectly, and I mean absolutely perfectly, had amazing heel hold, and was a great price, and so I went for it. If they only work for a year, then so be it, 134 bucks for a boots that I used for a year (and then kept as a backup) is not a bad deal AT ALL.

But it's all subjective. I'd check them out though if you can live with a pretty flexy boot.

oneplankawanka I have the same problem. For the first time in my snowboarding career I rode this year without foot pain thanks to Salomon Dialogue wide boots. I am very happy with them and will ride them always. I believe they have three boots in their lineup that come in wide widths. Dialogue, Synapse and a lower end freestyle boot whose name escapes me at the moment. I have what they call a dancers foot...exactly as you describe; high arch double E width.

I think the Salomons will make you a very happy camper....worked for me.

Boots for wide feet?

I have yet to find the perfect boot for my feet. Some of them feel great in the shop but after hours on the hill its a little different. I have high arches and slightly wide feet. Was just wondering what other people with similar characteristics use. I have never tried Salomons so any input on those would be appreciated.
