RidingThis I booked at Comfort Inn for like 99-89 dollars depending on nights. It came out to be like 800 bucks which is good since I'm like splitting in fourths with my friends so I have found like the best deal ever! lol, I'm not going to be spending much time there, so even if the hotel/motel sucks it won't matter. As long as I have a roof over my head and can sleep well enough, im good! I'm not picky

BarrettDSP glad I could help. Where did you end up booking at?

RidingThis Okay BarrettDSP, you are a saving grace. I just found a nice hotel/motel for $99. This is amazing, now my vacation will be more realistic to my current "financial situation"...

BarrettDSP Since you will have a car, look at lodging in Avon. It isnt as cheap as it once was but you can still find a good deal if you check often(stay in a 1 bdrm condo at Christie Lodge for less per night than you were looking to spend this past December). With you having a car you could then drive 10mins to Vail or take the free shuttle in Avon up to Beaver Creek. Your lift tickets will work at both places.

Evizzle If you are open to boarding at other resorts, and driving a bit (about an hour each way), there are plenty of places to stay for less. We stayed in Leadville and drove to vail, one day we had to board at copper because of a snowstorm and the roads were too tough. Just depends of you think the nightlife, a nice hot tub, and less driving is worth the price premium.

Cheapest place to stay at Vail? Is the money worth it?

I've been looking around for cheap Vail hotels. I'll be staying for 7 nights, so $300 hotels are seriously not okay for me! I'm trying to keep hotel bills under 1000 so I can budget. The lift tickets are already kind of expensive. I'm looking at this for next year. I'm not totally oblivious to the fact that Vail is an extremly expensive place, but the quality is hard to beat. I'm cutting down by actually driving there with some friends, and I'd like to find a hotel room that is less that 120 a night, and that can possibly give a discount if I stay long, like I am. I know I sound like a total cheap person but I can't afford to blow $6000 dollars for seven days! Sorry for ranting
