deagol It just started raining down here about 5 minutes ago, and it sounds pretty good too!!

Those new rain barrels will fill-up if I am lucky.....

this is wayyyy of topic, but these things are awesome if you want to capture rain water and use for landscaping...

linvillegorge Well, maybe that wobble happened. Latest run bumped us up from 2-4" to 5-7". Models had been steadily decreasing all day long.

Your timing was just off because January and February were GREAT. January 2017 was literally one of the snowiest months ever for CO.

Sucks for this one. I had high hopes for it. The deer and elk were crazy active the past few days and they're usually pretty accurate forecasters. Still not exactly sure what went wrong. Just took the dog for a walk and there's a lot of moisture in the air with a E/SE wind. That's the right recipe for us.

University of Denver Snowboard Team Needs You

Colorado is the bees knees for snowboarding, and students at the University of Denver have been exploring the area, and filming for a video contest based on snowboarding in college, the Red Bull Bracket Reel.

They've made it through three rounds, and are in the finals agianst Montana State, and voting ends tonight at 11mst. Help your neighborhood shredders take the crown and vote! If you like the video please share with friends and family!

The site is Red Bull Bracket Reel dot com, the team is DU Freeride. We filmed this around Berthoud Pass, Jones, and Keystone. Anyone ever want to go out?

Yeah, the lift ticket is just a drop in the bucket of the money you spend to ride Alyeska. Getting there is the expensive part.

January and February were really good here in CO. Unfortunately, those were the only two months so far that were. Hopefully April delivers. Unfortunately, I still have three vacation days to burn by the end of March. Might be mountain biking or fishing instead of riding.
