I considered that. But I have two 4runners and a Tundra already so I'm not worried about being too practical plus I'm a college student who wants to go camping and boarding over the years, so I'm not too worried about providing for a family or anything

Thanks for the redundant info bro lol

Be patient. It will happen. And I would seriously consider club sites as your best bet to find used Subaru's. Though there is one thing that I've noticed in the Cali area that finding vehicles like Foresters and Outbacks is almost like looking for a magical unicorn.

boarderaholic Consider buying privately? Or, find some regional Subaru clubs to join up with, and poke around the classifieds section there. *If* you know what you're looking for, it's usually much cheaper to buy used privately, than through the Stealership.

If you are looking for a dealer and not a private sale, I bought from Heuberger Subaru. They are here in Colorado Springs so no where near SoCal, but they do ship a lot of cars out of state. I would say give them a call ask for Big Mike, he sold me mine and was pretty cool.
I checked out the site and they didn't have anything under 17k
