Just to piggy back on what's already been said, make sure you hot wax it. Rub on wax isn't gonna help that

Just wax it and then wax it some more. Looks dry.
I would not ask that shop for board advice ever again as it doesn't seem like they know what they are doing.

Yeah that doesn't look "damaged" per se just dry and in need of some waxing. Edges always get dried out first as you pressure the most so put a lil more wax on those as you go.
I hate waxing for spring conditions-it is either not enough and my base looks all dry or too much left over and it gets all dirty and almost sticky where it is like a glue-ish residue. I bring a scraper in the car on spring days because I end up needing scrape the crap off my board after about three hours it seems.

|francium||What were the conditions like? Spring snow will strip wax off your base pretty quickly, looks like it's just dry give it hot wax clean then hot wax it make sure you structure it after waxing.|

Damaged base after one day
Bought a bataleon disaster(gulli edition) and this is what it looks like after one day.
Waxed yesterday, so what do you guys think? Repair shop recommended me to "sand it"(can't find the word). But this sucker is a triple base and I'm afraid the will duck it up...
