wrathfuldeity admittedly a bit harsh...but I live in gnu land and see very few roxy boards...despite by the raven flies, merv being less than 50 miles away.

I think that's a bit harsh. While they certainly have a specific top sheet style at a given price point build quality wise is the same as their Gnu equivalent. Of course around here depending who you talk to that is a good or bad thing

While their bread and butter volume wise is probably their entry level stuff the Radiance and Torah Bright will charge anywhere a LC and BPro will. And you can score some killer deals on their higher end stuff come clearance time.

I'm mean seriously, an XOXO for $205 out of the door shipped. That's a tough value to beat. You'd never find a Park Pickle, or whatever they've replaced it with as I think Gnu has at least retired the name for anywhere near that.

f00bar Last year I bought an XOXO for my daughter for dirt cheap, under $200 new. I figured the mag would be an upgrade over her Burton Social which was a little undersized anyway. Sadly she blew out her ACL just before the season so hasn't ridden it yet. I did just buy her some Now Vettas to replace the Flows she was going to use originally for it figuring the dampening on it wouldn't be a bad thing having gone through both ACLs.

I agree its basically a gnu park pickle. If I could have gotten a smoothie for anywhere near the price I probably would have gotten that, but I think the XOXO is a quality board.

I think that Roxy gets about the least love of most of the major brands, presumably because their target audience in general isn't 'passionate' although I think they make a good quality product.

Hi can anyone please tell me the width of the Roxy Banana smoothie at the binding insets please? and what size your board is, thanks

Triple8Sol Banana Smoothie because the EC2 (and C2) profiles are much better than standard BTX, which the XOXO has. The asym Pickle tech is nice, but not worth getting a fully rockered profile imo.

kteo My first post and love the responsiveness of users on this forum. Going to stick with the Smoothie and the Lexa (in Purple) - sick combo. Thanks everyone for your comments!!

natalie I agree, XOXO is better for park but the banana smoothie is also real good. The rocker on the XOXO will be easier to initiate turns with the asym sidecuts and rocker so it's good for an intermediate rider, but the banana smoothie will perform better all-mountain. I have the GNU park pickle for park riding and love it. It's pretty similar to the XOXO. I'd go with the banana smoothie tho, I like the feel of camber/rocker hybrids a lot

lander91 Not sure why the comment about ditching Burton... I've had both Burton and Union and they're both quality brands. Personally I prefer the Burton, but that's only because I also have Burton boots, and they fit together so perfectly.

kteo Thanks - Banana Smoothie was my first preference.

I'll check out the Trilogy - any reason why you've said ditch the Burton 24WERD?
