if she wants to get anywhere with this though she needs more than one example.

No offense dude, but did you really need us to tell you to just email some companies (probably better they be smaller ones) and just throw it out there? Seems kinda obvious. Just be nice and say "Hey, I like your product. Let me know what you think of my art, I'd love to do a project together!". You might get lucky, you might have to wait for stars to align...
this isnt my work and i have no idea how the snowboard industry works but was just trying to help a friend out. I was just trying to figure out if there is another way then emailing a company and getting the stuff sent directly to a spam folder.

Go to a snowboard companies website, email said company. Repeat. I'm surprised you couldn't figure this out on your own.

Stop playing Mr. Nice guy by beating around the bush, just ask her out.

Like everything nowadays, there is always a want for a shortcut to getting things done, the reality is you will get knocked back by 99.99999% of people you approach unless you are extremely lucky and just happen to have what they want at that moment in time...!

BurtonAvenger Well that design is ass for a base graphic. Too dark won't pop off the snow and would look bad for a photo shoot. Welcome to the snowboard industry where if you don't know anyone you are nothing. Just hit info@whateverbrandyouwanttotalkto.com
