Nivek Classic case of 90% rider, 10% gear.

No the Contact Pros are not too stiff for your Evo. It's you, not your gear.

madmax Contact Pro's are supposed to have a surfy feel to them, but maybe you're getting too much response because of the mini disk?

alchemy I'd possibly trade those infidels you said you'd buy for these contact pro's.

andrewdod I also thought the contact pros were a softer binding. I actually opted for the forces over them because they felt a little stiffer. I'd ride it out see if you get used to it. A new setup sometimes needs some time to sink in.

If they're too stiff, and your not happy, sell 'em and get a pair of NOW Selects with the low backs. Or get a park binding. If you want to keep them, keep them and keep riding with them. Contact Pro is not going to be too stiff. Nobody can read your mind and tell you what you want to hear.

linvillegorge What other advice can you get?

Yes, you can get bindings that are too stiff for your board. If that's what you think you've done, sell them and get softer bindings. A lot of it comes down to personal preference. What's too stiff for one may be just right for another.
