Yes your are correct, the timeless is camber.
The timeless is going to much much stiffer than ns.
Way too many folks ride boards too short for their weight.
You ll be fine.

Manicmouse Cobra is rocker between the feet, so CRC.

ridinbend It's gonna be a bit long for what you want it to do. If your comfortable riding your timeless at that size then the cobra will feel more responsive. It's not too big though, you could have plenty of fun on it. I'm gonna assume your ride board is camber, which is very different from the cobra rcr.

Manicmouse I ride the same board/length from a year earlier and I'm 20 lbs heavier than you.

Do you get much powder where you are? Cobra is great in the powder but if you're mainly on groomed runs maybe it's worth getting something with a different camber profile.

I bought it to have a board that's great in powder but can still be used as my any conditions board.

Should I Keep This Board NS Cobra 161

About me:
170 lbs
5’10”
Ride: Mammoth
80% Groomed 20% Trees, 0% park, looking to do more trees.
I’ve been on a 161 Ride Timeless for many years and haven’t ridden many boards to compare. I bought a 161 Never Summer Cobra but worried that it might be too long. Any thoughts, should I try and sell or trade it for a shorter one before winter? Will it work well in the somewhat dense tress of the Eastern Sierras. Thanks in advance.
