lamb Mainly jib-style. I'm still progressing, so not gonna be hitting anything big for atleast another season. I guess I'm just gonna drop the coin and snag it up...if it doesn't ride like I want, I'll just sell it for what I pay for it.

Thad Osprey Agree with seant46. ULTIMATELY, it will depend on preference. If you have not already, you can try googling board size calculators, do a Youtube search on Board size/length etc and draw your own conclusions after ploughing through the advice. Riding a board smaller than the manufacturer's intended weight range for that board (i.e. you are heavier than the max weight rating for that board) may void some warranties so you may wish to keep that in mind. But even if you size down, it is unlikely you will break/snap the board easily. At 5'7, 148 is doable if its a "park board" and you want "flexy". (But in truth even Park boards have different purposes, i.e. big booter boards vs noodle jib boards so I guess the real answer is not only preference but depends what you want to do).

seant46 Depends on what you prefer. I have 4 boards ranging from 147-156 and i weigh 170-180. I still take my 147 through some big mountain stuff its just harder.

Board size question....

Looking at getting a new board, one that's flexier than the Endeavor Live 156 I have now, and smaller because it's gonna be my park board. Looking at an Endeavor Colour 148, which is a decent bit smaller than the 156 I have now and the Rome Manual 153 I started out on..

I'm about 155# and 5'7"....I have the Live for the rest of the mountain so this would be strictly a park board. Is that too short of a board for a person my size? The board is dirt cheap, and the Colour 154 is way too purple for I'm really wanting to get it, but don't want to piss the money away on something that I couldn't really ride.
