sub7m19 Thanks for responding everyone it helps out a lot. So far at the moment from what you guys have told me the runner up are the P1.1's and maybe the triads and rome 390s. Could anyone else give their 2 cents on these bindings? I would really appreciate it!

Christopher9 You should consider looking at brands other than Burton. Union, Flux, and Rome all make great bindings. But if you have to go Burton then the P1s should be fine.

Deviant As said above, if you are going to stay with burton...Triads all the way, way more comfortable than cartels with virtually same response. I haven't ridden P1's so I won't comment there, but alot of people have asked about triads on here, I sold my cartels after 1 season and bought triads. Cartels are fun, but I don't feel any loss of response with the triads. Just my 2 cents.

earl_je if you have to go Burton, the P1s would do you good. The cartels are very responsive yet flexible enough (for me at least, a lot of people think they're stiff) but they get uncomfortable after a while.

Comfort wise, nothing comes close to the Rome 390s from what I've ridden. I suggest you do a lot more reading and searching... tons of other threads like this. I typically try them for a few weeks then decide if I keep them or sell/trade/give them.

Im looking to get some good bindings for an all mountain/free style style. I just finished my first season with some old salamon bindings and a new DC HDK pro devun walsh board. I love the board, its light, quick and responsive. However, I felt like i didn't get the best out of that season due to the old bindings/boots. Now that I have past the forgiving era in which id beat the hell out of my equipment im ready to move onto something bigger and better. The bindings that i was looking into were some brand new 08'09 triads for $100, or 09'10 cartels for $120 or some p1.1's for $160. I want something that is responsive and that can take a good impact on jumps ect. What do you guys recommend? ?
