I'm a newb
I have snowboarded for about 2-3yrs....many many times....about 2yrs ago.
However, I learned by reflex..and never took into account how I actually turn the board, let alone make myself stop.
I snowboarded so much and so well..i did a few basic tricks like Indy Grab, 50-50grind.
however I have stoped snowboarding and its been awhile now. I don't know fi I can get back on a board Like i used to.
Please tell me if my "theory" on how to control the board is correct:
Weight distribution: most of the time when moving you should have most of your bodyweight at the FRONT foot ..
Turning: while having most weight on front foot, turn shoulders towards the direction you want to go to, and also lean with the edge of the board the direction you're heading.
stoping: apply even distribution of bodyweight over both the feet while turning your shoulders ...depending on which way you want to stop (facing downhill or uphill)
Please tell me if I have anything wrong. This is just something i remember from reading books like 5yrs ago...and I actually READ the book like a year AFTER i already know how to snowboard.
