--bigtime-- Hey all. Thanks for the advice. Even tho we are still a few weeks from snow here in NY I went ahead and put my Targas as my lead foot and my contrabands as my back foot just to try a few presses on the rug and my board did NOT explode. Want you all to know that for now it is possible. Will update post once tried on actual snow. New element may cause different results.

Equipment used in experiment:
'10 Skate Banana 156W
'10 Rome Targa (left) - Rust
'10 Ride Contraband (right) - Bone White
'10 DC Phase boots (both left and right)

NYCboarder prob would feel weird at first.. But as with anything you will get use to it and prob wont notice the difference over time. Your body will adapt to anything and will eventually fell "normal"

mtmgiants yeah wow im dumb but still i guess the one point i said about different flexs would give a weird uneven responsiveness to your board still makes sense

Plus if you are buying one set of quick in/out binding why dont you just use the other binding that you paid for in the pair as the front one and just keep it locked in?
dont really have anything to say about the subject but just pointing out that he said he already has a inventory of bindings so he wouldnt need to buy anymore

Binder switcharoo

Hey people,

Just curious if anyone out there has ever ridden with different style/brand/size bindings on their lead foot and their back foot.
I have a few different bindings in my inventory and was thinking what it would be like to ride a "standard" binding (Burton Custom, Rome Targa) on my front foot and then have a "quick" binding (Flow M9, Ride Contraband) on my back foot for when I strap in/out.
If you've tried this let me know what your set-up was you used and how you liked it.
Also, are there any drawbacks to this physically. (meaning like any possible tweaked back/ankle situations)

Thanks all and happy shredding.

(apologies if this has been asked before, wasn't too sure how to search it out)
