That's pretty much true because I always wanted to snowboard, but would have had to make a long drive (back when I lived in Indiana, most all my life). Once I moved closer to the mountains, I made sure to go snowboarding. But if I move back to Indiana, guess I'll be making long trips.

racer357 Are you being serious? there isn't an indoor ski slope in the U.S. that I am aware of. the cornfields of Indiana would likely be the last place they would put one. AS much as it sucks. even right now, to find decent snow conditions, the closest place would be Northern Michigan or the east coast.

racer357 No one stays open 'til may within 10 hrs of Bloomington,In. The weather and temps prohibit it. Most places in Colorado Close mid April and they have 10,000 feet of elevation over us...
