sparty I also wear a R.E.D. Hi-Fi and love it. It fits perfectly with my Anon Realm Modpods so there's no noobish gap and the ear pads keep you toasty. I wouldn't ride without it...

Augie09 I really like my hifi RED. fits great. I did get the skull candy audio ear pads and they fit like crap! They don't hug my ears like the basic ear covers and let a ton of wind in the front. Looking at it, it's obvious why it happens, the basic pads dont' have speakers in them and can form around your ears to keep them warm. The skull candys with the speakers in them are rigid and let tons of cold air in when riding. wish i could return the audio option. but the helmet with the basic ear pads is great!

AAA I started wearing one a few years ago under my wife's insistance. "You go too damn fast. It scares me.", was her mantra. So I tried on a bunch and settled on a surprisingly light and comfortable Giro Nine.9. I actually don't notice it all when riding, unless it's warm and I get hot. Aside from the melon protection, it provides a couple nice advantages over hats. One, it's warmer. Next, it stays it place and doesn't shift around like hats. And last, I can lift my goggles up in the lift line and since they're on plastic and not a pervious, sweaty hat, they don't fog up.

Joey Bananas I just picked up a Giro Bad Lt. from Sports Authority to finish the season off with.

DuncanShea I too have the protec ace freecarve and can vouch for it. I wish the ear flaps went down a little farther though. I like the vents, the removable washable liner, and the non-bubble head silhouette.

But I am thinking of a bluetooth audio helmet for next year.

Augie09 by the time i realized i needed a helmet it was too late. get one if you are wanting to do more park stuff, specially in regions notorious for ice.

Josh People not wearing a helmet on a bike is so stupid it makes me lmfao. Not only does it protect you, but it muffles the sound of the bike and air. I can't imagine getting on the freeway with an R1 and having no helmet...I'd probably go deaf.
