chupacabraman 157 HP. You don't need the 161.5, and the HP is a bit stiffer if I'm not mistaken which will be better at your weight.

gyuva I'm glad that we have a lot of options deep snow on me a year from 20 to 25 days. I live in Hungary, Austria and France tours. Currently, Burton Josystick 159w, I do not feel that there is little in the deep snow, but unstable ice conditions. . The horror! Solution magnetraction .... Now I'm starting to jump (180, 360, sometimes 540), many have suggested that the 157 is better for me, because c2 in size from 3 cm. I am afraid that 161.5 is more difficult to learn, or I would not even notice the difference? This version of the HP is worth the extra money? Or that a few days in the deep snow is not worth it higher?
Thank you for your opinion!

tekniq33 I am in a very, very similar situation as you. I will be buying either the T. Rice 161.5, 162 BSOD or the 159 Mountain Twin. I am 6'2" 185lbs without gear and size 11 Burton SLX.

My riding is similar to yours though I am lucky to get that much pow. I live in NYC so most riding is done upstate NY and VT with a handful of days out west. I was initially thinking the 157 but I have Nug and I am probably going to sell my Premier 163 so I will be going 161.5 for sure.

I recommend the 161.5 for you as well. With such limited time in the park you should definitely lean towards a bigger board to tackle that pow. My friend has the 161.5 and he throws 3's and 5's no problem with it. If you have the skill you can spin a board of that size. If you can afford it get the HP version so it is lighter and easier to toss around.

Lib Tech Travis Rice Pro C2BTX 157 vs 161,5

Iím looking for the ideal size snowboard. Parameters are height: 184cm (6 ď) Weight: 83kg (183lbs), boot size 11.5 (Burton Ion). groomers 50% , pow 25%, 25% of using park . I've read many opinions, but I can't decide whether 157 or 161.5 would be better for me. I love the deep snow, but I am afraid there is little to 157, but a large jump in the park at 161.5 for me?
