|BurtonAvenger||The Angry Snowboarder Blog Archive 2012 Board Review Break Down this might help you. Otherwise I'd go look at the K2 Raygun, Arbor Coda, or something that's a directional twin. 161 is what it is if you want it get it otherwise I'd say stick around 58ish.|

All Mountain / Freeride Boards?
What up SB Forum, bout ready to hit it hard this season. So, I have a Stairmaster for the midwest but I go out to Colorado every year (A-Basin, Breck, etc). I'm ready to get a new deck for the mountains out there, the Stairmaster is a noodle! Yes, a fun noodle...
I need some brand/model/length/width advice on a stiffer board good for high mountain speeds, popping off rollers and kickers, spins, and powder. I'll be looking for new 2011 boards because that's what my budget says (~$325 or so). I'll also consider new/used 2010 or older maybe because I care about quality and would go older for a better board.
I need something to progress on, from intermediate to upper-intermediate.
I'm 6'1", 175 lbs, and have size 11 boots. I'm thinking around a 161?
I duck, about 15 degrees each way, should I consider wide boards? If so how do they compare as far as maneuverability/stability? Pros/cons?
