|WasatchMan||T.Rice is a good choice. Skunk Ape would be great too. Ride Berzerker is a killer board, and also comes in a wide. As well as Rides Highlife Wide, but that is like a T.Rice on steroids, super hard charging destroy any terrain type board. Never Summer Heritage X is incredible. Arbor Roundhouse RX would be sweet too.|

Thanks for the replies. I was figuring around 26cm, so good to know I can go a little narrower than that.
A couple people suggested the T. Rice... the 161.5 is probably at the top of my list, but I wanted to comparison shop, too.

|mjd||Lib Travis Rice 157 has a 25.8 width. I've been riding that with size 9 boots = very stable at speed through/over anything. It's a true twin and if you're learning switch this will move you along quickly. The TRS has a smaller waist.|

I wear the same size boot.
Absolute minimum of
and that's with shrinkage boots.
Check the Ride Berzerker wide

What kind of waist width am I looking for?
I'm starting to look for a step-up board. I'm currently on a K2 Raygun 160 wide, and want to go slightly longer since I find the 160 gets squirrelly at speed and I get bounced around a bit more than I like in chop. My boots are only 11.5, however, so I am worried that going with a longer wide board is going to cost me when it comes to edge to edge speed and overall fine control. Any suggestions for the sort of waist width I ought to be looking at?
-220lbs and slowly dropping, not likely to vary more than 210-225 anytime soon.
-rapidly progressing intermediate skill (ride blues and blacks, spend a lot of time in trees, can handle virtually anything not rated double black when the snow's fresh, working on switch riding and planning to integrate some park)
-riding at Bridger Bowl and a little bit in the Yellowstone area back/side country.
-11.5 32 TM2 boots at 15/-6, 20" stance width
