oefdevilvet In that case it depends on what you want to focus on, jumps, jibs, park. Really, I would consider flex of board/bindings(maybe even new boots) the most important factor. If you going after kickers or the pipe, I think something closer to 160 with a mid flex would be good, otherwise go more around 155-157 with a softer flex would be better. Plus I would detune the edges a little.

Speedster i haven't really rode a proper park yet but it's definitely something i'm interested in getting into. 155 would be my definite limit. i'm thinking somwehere the line of 157-158.

oefdevilvet Not a major park guy myself, but still, I wouldn't go under 155.

Speedster im a slim guy so my weight is around 165-170 last time i checked. so that makes me 6'2 at 165 pound.

oefdevilvet Height is factor, but not as much as weight. Ballpark, I wouldn't go less than 155.

Basti The relevant figure is your weight, not your height. I'm sure we can help you out if you post your weight here. Cheers

how to choose a park board

hey guys i'm new here, nice to meet you all.

this is going to be my first board and i don't want to get it wrong so i decided to ask the experts here. i'm a bit taller than the average and from what i understand i'm in the range of 160-162 for the board, but from what i heard park boards is suppose to be a tad shorter? i used to skateboard alot when i was a kid, so doing tricks on snowboard should be pretty exciting(and hopefully alot more forgiving when i mess up). i guess what i'm asking is what is the estimated shortest board i can get away with when me being 6'2.
