Binding/Boot compatibility

So I used all the great advice I got on this site to help my bro-in-law pick a board purchase. (and for myself as well). He was able to snipe a used Rome Agent on eBay that had bindings on it.

The question: The board came with size large bindings advertised as "Rome Pro Line". We can't find any info online about the binding. He's going out to try on boots and see what fits well, but is there anything he needs to worry about in looking for a boot to ensure it's compatible with the bindings? (it may be moot, since he's a 9.5-10 shoe size, so depending on the boot model might be too small for the bindings, but figured we should ask before shopping). Any general info people can provide? (or info on the specifics of the model binding would be nice too!)
