the cabin was a great time. the weather was mid 80s and sunny the whole time. i think i was in the water for about 5 minutes total, it was sooo freaking cold. it kinda knocked the wind outa me when i jumped in. the boat ride and sittin on the boat on the water was nice though. it's great to be so entertained by doing nothing but drinkin beers and playin cards out in the sun. we almost had the entire crew too, only 2 people not there out of the 3 familys with cabins down there. that hasn't happened in years.

i've been looking around on the internet for a board. i didn't bother to go in the dock stores to look because i know they jack up the prices like crazy down there.

Simply^Ride So I went today for my weekly ride at the park and guess what; they were closed for maintenance. Personally I think they were hunting for crocks, oh well I guess ill just go tomorrow. I was looking forward to finally completing a full run today.

yeah i've never been on those, i see em all the time tho. i really wanna try one of those tubes that are like V shaped and have like webbing in them that makes the tube lift off into the air when you get going fast enough.

i'm goin down to my cabin this weekend and i'll probably look at boards in some of the dock's shops. the water probably won't really be warm enough to swim in though, it's been a cold spring.

both your boards look nice next to each other by the way.

I am not sure if it's an electric system or gas I would have to find that out. There is a platform in the bottom were you wait in line for your turn, then the operating guy gives you the handle and you are good to go. Your line is hooked to the cable and get ready for the pull of your life, you go from o to 30km in 1 second or so, it fucking pulls. I am actually not that sore today, so I am thinking that I might be able to go either tomorrow or this coming weekend. It's kind of a pity that Thoris bailed out on me, to be honest I think he is scared of the water, the thing is dark and well FL is known for alligators so I don't blame him at all. He claims that he might try it again later on.

I will take a video of the system for you, next time I visit.

The answer is yes I have been behind a boat but not with a wake board, I have been but on a knee board and on skis. This was done when I was younger back in Colombia, my uncle owns a small private island in a huge man made damn and well we used to hit that place very often . It was a blast we had a couple of boats, 1 wave runner, every kind of ski, knee board, and other goodies. I even went parachuting we had a couple of those, they are the best buy far.

My new board is an O'brien Ace, it's their entry level board for 08, the funny thing is that the board has the same body of their pro board. The board is not forgiving and you have to know how to handle it, the boots are very comfy and fast to lace in and out off. I paid $250 for it, it came with the boots as well, not a bad deal to start with.

Gustov that's awesome that you have a cable park close by, i didn't even know they existed until about 2 weeks ago. i've been wanting to wakeboard my whole life basically. i've been going to lake cumberland, kentucky for my whole life and i've never tried it, kinda sad. i think i might finally buy a board this summer to subdue my snowboarding itch. you've never been behind a boat on your board have you? there's nothing like having that actual wake to play with. by the way, what kind of board did you get?
