It is a common misperception, that is why I wanted to highlight it - I believe it was actually the Rome guys on this forum who explained the concept a while ago.
Still perfectly good bindings.

No, they are not. They are essentially Arsenals with the 390 straps - no V-Rod baseplate (and baseplate is plastic), Underwrap heel hoop not cored out as much, no asym highbacks, etc.

wernersl id say if your primarily a freerider with occassional park you may also want to look at the targas. they have quite a range of adjustability, to include flex. im considering them myself but will probably freeride one more season on my arsenals.

aubzobot If you're going to do some park but not 100% I'd say the 390's would work. I used them last season and quite liked them.

On the hunt for new bindings

I'm looking to get new binding this season and need some help. I was looking at at a set of Rome 390 black and white and some if the ride bindings. I do ride park a little here and there but mostly just do free ride shredding. I'm looking for any suggestions, brands or what ever you guys think are good for what I am looking for?? Thanks for the help
