Powhound97 I lost a toe strap boarding last season, thankfully the resort had a shop and they replaced it for $15

I have checked, checked, and double checked my stuff.
I don't want to replace anything else!

Thanks for the reminder Timmy!

Reminder to check all your screws & gear over thoroughly.

Here is an excellent reminder to check all your screws & gear over thoroughly.

Yesterday, I went too far out of bounds
As I was hiking up using my board as a wedge in the snow. All of the sudden as I slam the board into the face , one of my ankle strap comes off & slides down through my legs.
I knew the hardware to connect it should all still be on top of the snow beneath me.
But if I pulled my board out, they would get buried for sure.

It was so steep though, I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it back up to my board, without a board.

I actually had to stop & weigh my options.

I lived.
