jkc350z Well I never go into the park and never really hit big kickers. I mainly do all-mountain, trees, hit natual features. Mainly enjoy what the mountain has to offer. I may hit a box like once a year. Should I be looking at a different board? I just want something more aggressive that I can just bomb runs and be aggressive through un-groomed terrain.

Dysantic I'm 6' and about 180 lbs and I ride a T. Rice 161.5 and I love it. Just as a FYI, the 153 and 157's have round noses and tails while the 161 and above have pointed noses and tailes. I find mine is great everywhere on the mountain and also just tears through the pow. I use it for pretty much everything but the park. If your going to be sticking to the east coast more than anything, I say go with the smaller ones, but if your coming out west and plan to hit the pow alot, 161.5 is perfect all-mountain that also floats so nicely.

If your completely set on the shorter, blunded ends, either one would be nice, but if you plan to hit any kind of jumps I would be a little skeptical about a 153 on bigger kickers. If you want to use it for everything, go 157 or 161 if you are always on the hunt for pow like me. lol

03SVTCobra Im about 170-180 and was rocking the 153 no problem but it is an 09 and very stiff compared to the latest model. If I were to pick up the newest one Id go 157.

NYTSNOW either one works for you, but you answered your own question about wanting the shorter one.

T. Rice Pro sizing question

Thinking about picking up a T. Rice for an all-mountain, off the beaten track, slayer.

I am 5'10, and my weight fluctuates between 138-150lbs. I ride in the east coast, but will be using this board a lot out west.

I never go in the park, but do like a lot of maneuverability through trees and tight lines. Also like natural features.

Would the 153 or 157 be best for me? Lately I have been riding smaller boards and wanted to try something like a 155 this year, but really wanting to try the T. Rice. I am leaning towards the 153.
