Easto I just picked up a K2 - Lunatique 146 cm for my wife off rei. Had to ship it to the US and will have to pick it up, but $140 was hard to turn down.

Now I am in the market for some boots and bindings.

I was thinking Burton Lexa perhaps for the bindings.

The rental boots she wore on the slopes were Burton size 6. When she had her foot measured for boots, one foot measured 6.5 and the other 7. She tried on size 7 and thought that once they pack out they will be too big. She is leaning towards size 6 since the boots she wore were a 6 and all broken in.

She tried the Burton Mint boots on. She liked the speed lacing. Would this be a good boot for her?

onel0wcubn Walk into any local board shop... or dick sporting goods.. they usually have really good deals on past season models.

Treegreen You may want to look at the REI outlet. They have a number of nice women's boards on fairly steep discount since they are a couple years old model wise.

149 might be a little big for her first board. It will be a lot more stable but I would shoot for a 147..

I started my wife on a shorter board (146) then put her on a 149 that shes on now and that seemed to help alot. Shes 5'6" 150

The board i have is a O-matic Disco.. 150
