A bunch of questions!

Well to start, Merry Christmas hope you guys got good stuff and lots of snow! I got a RED Commander Helmet in orange, Klipsh S4i Rugged Series in Blue, and a bunch of gift cards to places like Zumiez, Scheels, or just those Visa Cards

Anyways I was just saying one of my presents was to go up to Moonlight Basin on the 30th and we go up early so I have from when it opens to when it closes to ride/learn! Since I got a helmet I'll have a bit more confidence and feel a bit better when going faster or when around a terrain park. This will be my 4th time this season and 5th ever and my First time going anywhere besides Red Lodge, and I might have a friend with me who is pretty advanced (some double-blacks) so he might be able to tell me a bit but when I go I don't want to be holding him back like crazy (and yeah he'll just leaver for the blacks when I start to practice my jumps/jibs).

So the purpose of this thread is to just ask for tips for a beginner for an easier level terrain park. Like just some introduction tips for jumps and jibs, but mainly jumps. Thanks and Merry Christmas
