Mind sharing? VRBO drives me nuts sometimes shifting through the lists.

Argo I'd stay in breck, keystone or vail. Be close to at least one mountain and make a short day trip of the others. If your really set on being more "central" then main street frisco is about as close as that gets.

element i'm thinkin dillon - but i'm not a local - so just my guess - puts you kinda on the east side of summit county - but probably relatively better pricing, esp compared to being in the resort towns.

Billcosby Where is the best place to base in Colorado if one wants to check out a bunch of different mountains?

element The colorado pass to the Vail owned resorts is the Epic Season pass - you'll find info about it at
I think it's a bit late in the year to buy the pass - but still may be OK.

new traveller questions

I lived in Ontario my entire life and always snowboarded locally or short trips to Montreal/Banff. I just moved to Florida and want to continue the sport so I plan on doing a bunch of trips this year. I haven't done any real travelling like other people on this board so I have some beginner questions.

Since I will be travelling alot what is the best choice for lift tickets, I thought I remember Colorado having a season pass to a number of mountains? If so, anyone know the name of that pass? Do any other areas offer a similar pass?

I like to have my own kitchen so most hotels are out, is vrbo the best option for renting a property?

Any other tips or advice to make frequent travelling more economical? I thinking I may be able to save some money flying southwest within the US?
