PaoloSmythe indeed it is the maldives. clean, clear, exclusive and stuffed with sharks! rahhhhh!

9 hours from london and a damn sight longer trek from west coast canuck.... so i best go whilst i can (all future plans being well)

the missus will bitch about forking out 2 - 3k for a fortnight of sun and scuba, but she will love it whilst we're out there, and i can close my ears when ever she laments her miniscule bank balance once we return to reality..... i mean who needs a pension anyways?

T.J. you need a visa just to change planes on US soil even tho your starting point and destination are not in the US? WTF?!

PaoloSmythe well it seems that french polynesia and fiji are out of the question....

it seems that all flights require a change over in LA.... for which i need a visa!

to change flights i have to indulge the bullshit of homeland security and immigration USA services.

who the fek do they think they are?????

kri$han Greece is supposed to have an amazing amount of nightlife, and wicked scenery.

PaoloSmythe hhmmm Oz did get considered, but asides from the distance to travel, just for a heap of locals to yell 'pom' at you, barrier reefs blow; too much boat travel for too little bottom time; and besides, they are so anal about their nature reserve systems, you only ever get to go where every other package holiday maker goes for their 'try dives'.

looks like we're gonna be either in Egypt, or slumming it up in Greece or Turkey!
