Looks like it's been snowing quite a bit and will be somewhat warm, bring both! I was at Jasper on a rare good weekend two weeks ago and there were very nice fresh tracks to be had in tres hombres/caribou knoll area. Eagle east was mostly tracked out, and coverage is an issue (cored my board on a shark fin in an untracked area).

The park was very hard pack, landings were quite unforgiving, felt like concrete. With some warmer temps and fresh snow though I would think it should be better this weekend. Albeit not the hugest, the M/L jump line is pretty smooth and was good to me this season.

Let me know how it is I am headed up the weekend after, gonna test out my new deck

Loves2splooge It's been a good March for nearly all the resorts. I'm keeping my eyes open for this Sunday - and then I want to get away all next weekend. Kicking Horse has been amazing the past couple of weekends.

I'm heading to Kicking Horse on Thursday night to ride Friday - looks like another nice dump s heading their way tomorrow/Thursday.

This season is the complete opposite of last year - terrible start and, so far, excellent spring.

Rode KH on Sunday. Amazing!!! So much snow and the coverage is excellent. Could not see much but the powder was bottomless.

The traverse is still exposed and defo took a few shots to my base but once you got past the rocks it was untracked, deep and soft for the most part. Cut into the trees and accidentally launched off a frozen waterfall. Soft landings. Had a lot of fun.
.
Wheeler is the one skiers right and Peyto's skiers left.

Went back up to the base as they told me the dive had eventually opened but by the time I got up there it had closed again. Then headed back over to Goatseye but they'd closed WW.
This is exactly what I did today....prob crossed paths without even knowing it hahaha

Loves2splooge Banjo - just seen this post sorry man, might have crossed paths at somepoint today.

I was in SSV for the weekend, saturday spent the morning in the park and the afternoon hiked the backdoor and it was still nice in there if you were creative with your lines - but the avi conditions were pretty scary so nothing too steep/ridge line.

Today was really fun despite the vis being awful above treeline, so I spent the morning lapping teepee chutes and the shoulder until they opened Wild West.. The end.
