k8xp Oh man I'm so happy and relieved. Forgot about my last Soc Sec check, it came last night so now I have plenty of money to buy my own board.

"Stranger Danger" on craigslist ; D
He loves snowboarding and just bought a 2013 Jeep so he won't hold off from going up for much longe, esp to be able to break the truck in! He's just a hard little worker bee.

Oh and BTW, I put "Seattle" but do actually live in Tacoma.

Sweet deal. I'll check my Cobalt forum too and see if anybody's selling some.

k8xp I'm actually still trying to find someone to take me and a solid date :/ was supposed to go Sunday, but my friend didn't go through with it. Boyfriend has been working with other managers all week, and then I leave for the Bahamas Jan 31st : (

I was thinking about taking the mountain's bus this week, but keep reading you shouldn't go alone. So, we'll see. I'm getting anxious. Sucks not having chains for my car!

Really its not the gear....its the rider...or at least the rider's attitude and skill. You got the most important piece of equipment....boots. Get a helmet and some lessons...SPEND THE $ ON LESSONS...not gear since u have never gone. Ur in the pnw....there are tons of folks with extra gear...just ask around or CL.
Damn that's cheap! Only problem is Baker is twice the distance from me than Snoqualmie. I don't know if my man would be up for driving that far. But I just checked Snoqualmie and they have the same package for $80. Thanks a ton! Did not see that they had a discounted package for it, def will be doing that now.
