BurtonAvenger Well it was fun early, then Denver showed up and ruined it. Snows super heavy and the Basin has roped a lot of terrain off. Rumor is Pali might re-open tomorrow. 1 more day and my season is officially over.

deagol great choice, IMO.

Swift was super fun surfy board. Seems like it would rule in powder..

killclimbz Looking like a real powder day for tomorrow. I already told the boss I am sick. One last powder day at Bert and I just picked up my new Never Summer Swift split. I got to demo one at Silverton Splitfest and it was a super fun board in soft corn. I didn't think I would get to take it out in powder until next season. Color me wrong...

Places like Buff Creek and Stauton should be good to go for mountain biking after a warm day or two. The terrain is sandy, grainy type of stuff so it drains quickly. Not a lot of mud.

deagol agreed.

We did a week-long camping trip in Utah the last week of April for Mt biking & canyoneering and froze pretty much the whole time.

linvillegorge Yep, gonna have to hit up the Basin tomorrow. The last day at Loveland just was not sufficient to end the season on.

Mountain biking season just got hit with a major delay. It's gonna be a mud-fest for awhile now. Lots of moisture in the forecast, but that's just fine by me. Man, it was a warm, dry winter. We needed this late spring blast.

deagol Yeah, me too..

I put the boards away while cleaning out the garage a few weeks ago and got into mountain-bike mode. But may try to do a bigger line on Sunday. I hate Mt biking in wet muddy cold conditions, and May can be great to do the bigger lines, so we will see.......
