flips712 Got my shovel and I'm digging up this thread. I love DIY projects. Looks very clean. I'm curious to know how did it turn out once you used it on the mountain.

DIY board Gopro mount

This is just my second post and i hope this is in the right sub-forum.

My DIY addiction relapse kicked in again today. Since I already have everything i needed, why not specially after hearing that nothing out there works well when mounting a Gopro to the board. The 3M sticky pad was removed, the bottom surface of the mount was contoured to follow the boards nose bend, stainless steel bolt with very low profile aluminum t-nut. I used Locktite Repair Extreme to glue the mount and also inside the drill hole and around the bolt/nut flanges before everything were mated. The glue dries waterproof and withstands vibration and freezing temps which even has look and flexibility of p-tex. I still need to get a few drops of wax around the t-bolts just for extra measure.
