West Baden Iron I can't give you a comparison like you ask but I thought I would tell you what I know. My brother-in-law just went to Chaminox over Christmas and loved it. He and I are what I would consider low to mid level intermediate. Switch is a still a little sketchy, rarely fall riding regular, can maintain speed on blue and black diamond and can put the board pretty much where ever we want but we can't really do any tricks. Trees are fun and we can control ourselves enough through them. 180's and a little buttering, but thats about it.

I don't think it would be too much for you if you are at the same level as us from talking to him. You can obviously go for the hardest runs in the backcountry and get in trouble, but I would definitely feel comfortable going myself.

Thanks,

Jason

Chamonix too advanced?

Hi. In Switzerland for the first time and looking for areas to try. We tried Crans-Montana today and really liked it. Planning to go to Zermatt. We were also looking at Chamonix but not sure if it's too advanced for a low level intermediate? Has anyone been to both Crans-Montana and Chamonix to provide a comparison for our level? Thanks!
