mitch19 RICE that leg from the start would have been my advice. Seeing as it is a few days after, you could use a combination of heat/ice and keep it rested and just wait.

Bruised my calf right before our Utah/MT Trip..?

A few days ago I was ripping through the trees, I was shooting a small gap between some aspens when a little stub of wood just under the blow-in pushed my board over and sent my board on the other side of tree... hit my calf on my leading leg pretty hard.

I want to heal so I can ride hard during our week long trip up north next week. Any Advice?!

I could walk and do most things without to much pain today so I went riding. I pretty much had to stay on the smooth groomers, whenever I had to slam on the breaks or go though moguls it was almost unbearable. I didn't even try the park or trees.

I'll be pissed, I've been looking forward to this for awhile now.
