HUGE disappointment to say the least. OP's review is right on.

Review sounds right- I liked pretty much everything about my Flagship except the lack of dampening. It was very harsh which caused me to sell the board.
The nose is great for powder riding though.

I ride the 12/13 Flagship 158 (I'm 123lbs). Found it to be very forgiving, easy to turn and insanely fast edge to edge. Before I bought it I was very intimidated by all the "oh, its so stiff", but immediately fell in love with it. Yes, in moguls it's no fun, but in my resort, all slopes are groomed every night so they are not a big issue.
All the positive points you highlited (stability, speed, stability, edge hold, stability, pow float, oh yes... and stability ) make it the one for me. I wanted to have a board that is perfect for the "king of the world" days (of which we had quite a lot the last two years). The crap days are crap anyway On normal groomer days it's big fun to carve too. But I admit that I havn't riden other similar boards so I can't compare it. Maybe the Raptor or Mothership would also have been good options too. I'll try some at the test day in March, maybe to get an option for the crap days.

|Supra||The board you need to get is the Rossi experience. It's the flagship done right. Actually, it's the OG flagship. I've ridden both and the experience is so much better|

Nice write up, I haven't ridden one but always wanted to... Guess I'll just be content with my Raptor

^ With full camber right? On the Aviator? That would be fun!
I love the Mtn Twin! Gonna add a new one here shortly.
Different people with different styles I guess. I hate mine in the trees. What size is he riding? I find that it just does not heel/toe steer very well with the front foot making the initiation.

sounds about right. I haven't ridden it but we have one at the shop. It feels and looks like a pow-slayer. a guy i know who rides up at Jay has one says it's awesome in the trees though. i thought the Mt Twin nailed it this year.
Jones stiffened up nearly the entire line for next year and did some tweaking with the rocker profiles. They also added the Aviator which is supposed to be damper ride than the Flagship.
