So, anyone else scoping out the pics and mountain webcams today? Looks like it is absolutely DUMPING down in central Otago.
The Cardies crew got halfway up the road, gave up, turned around and went home for the day - claiming there's 50cm up there!

I'm in Wellington so might head up to Turoa for a day or two.
Good to hear someone does stock Never Summer, totally awesome boards.

Snowcentre in Newmarket were stocking NS last year, had the Proto HD / HDX and the Evo from memory. Not sure if they had them at their Ohakune shop or not as well. I guess they'll make the call about getting them in for this season depending whether or not they sold OK last year.
Got a season pass for Cardies because the earlybird was pretty cheap ($599) and we are planning to be down for two and a half weeks or so in August. But most likely will hit up TC and maybe The Remarks for a day or two also.

I have a Burton Antler which I love for soft snow and powder days, but an old camber Jussi which I'm looking to replace for the hardpack/icy days. Currently looking at a yes pick your line, NS Raptor and a jones flagship. Any opinions or decent places to pick up boards in NZ welcome....
You guys got season passes for the year or going where the snow is?

Moved back from Europe this summer so it's going to be 18 months since being on the mountain - really getting the itch...
Yeah I'll be looking for more NS boards Are there any dealers in NZ?
