Flick Montana Hey, that's a thought. Never considered that. And I don't see how crashing in contacts would do anything. Unless you land on your eyeballs, you'll be fine.

maybe that's because your eyes are enclosed by the goggles, effectively shielding them from the arid winds?

i took one spill on an icy hill and tumbled forward. contacts would've been semi-permanently affixed after that.

Flick Montana I'd take contacts over prescription goggles any day. If they fogged, you'd be screwed. I normally wear glasses because I find them more comfortable, but I always wear my contacts for boarding. Oddly enough, they usually dry out when I wear them and cause me lots of irritation, but they have NEVER done that when I am boarding.

yeah, same. i'd be afraid if i ate it and had the contacts gouged into my eyes. donno how realistic that is, but eeep.
