redlude97 The black iridiums are pretty dark. I only use them on sunny days usually in the spring in Oregon/Washington, not a good all around lens at all.

OSUperu for those that ride in oregon conditions... how effective are the black iridiums? i see people are using the yellow or pinks but doesnt the black yield more contrast? -dont know much about google shades for specific uses for any consise advice would help as well..

If you wait around long enough, SAC will put the Hi-yellow A-frames up again. I picked up my for~$50 shipped, and no need to change lenses.
I notice the difference enough between my hi-yellows and pink iridiums(similar light transmittance to the persimmons) that I bring both on overcast days and decide when I get to the mountain which pair to wear. You get ~20% more light with the Hi-yellows, and they double as a night lens also, where the persimmons don't work at all at night IMO.
